There are many reasons why a school will need to install new hardware components;

Replacing old components is probably one of the reasons to install new components, older ones get old and have passed their usage time because either they cannot fit their purpose anymore and new versions are out which offer something better, faster and probably cheaper.

We all go through replacing either our computers or the components within them… we also know it costs a lot of money and sometimes we would be better off replacing the whole system.

The School might require new hardware components to be installed because – people find the system slow or parts are out of date. When we talk about speed – we know its RAM and most old computers have 256MB RAM which does no one any justice because now-a-days computers and content require more and with-out these requirement it can cause the user pain including constantly un-wanted crashes which causes work lost or at bad time damaged.

Its better off for companies to buy more RAM which should give the computer better performance. If the computer needs more storage it is advised to buy the best hard drives because new ones can prevent work lost and can be partitioned to have a backup area, there is no point adding more because the old one can affect in some ways what the new ones does, so scrap the old one.

When installing hardware component there are health & Safety rules and things that must be done.

1.There should be no wires hanging around
2.There has to be space – for good work area
3.The lighting must be prefect – not too low not too high
4.A good type of chair – which has good back rest if need or just stand up
5.Table must be strong to support heavy computers and tools
6.Food & Drink must never be in the work area.
7.Making sure there is no electrical connections that are on
