Webdesigners
I don’t call myself a web design as Moey doesn’t call himself a graphics designer (He is). I’m not a web designer for the reason that I don’t do it for living so I’m just an amateur who one day might make it to be a web designer… or not?
Anyway I found this article which I think is amazing and very humours, 9 Signs You Shouldn’t Hire THAT Web Guy
1. He Calls Himself a "Webmaster"
This point is really good. I haven’t seen anyone call themselves a webmaster since 2000/1, I use to call myself a webmaster in those days, while making websites on geocities (old school) and then on freewebs .
2. He’s a FrontPage Expert
OhMyGod – I use to design all my websites on FrontPage and I loved it because it was simple and I thought I can design a website and I was special – but I was just another guy who didn’t know about what in reality web development was and though it was cool to make myself believe I can design a website. I truly felt good when I couldn’t unearth my FrontPage CD when moving operating systems.
3. He Can Make You a Great Splash Page Flash Animation
I do agree with this… flash animations are not needed – what is the point? I never used Flash Animated splash page for the reason that I couldn’t afford flash or knew what was flash then. I do love a nice graphical splash page with meaning but I guess splash pages are part of web 1.0 history.
I miss the old days when designing webpage was simple, no one cared on what graphics you used what links you had and what your site looks like as long as you had a website and for sure no some cared for CSS or XHTML validations. I learnt a lot from Geocities (maybe not) and I want to thank Funky Chickens, it’s the website that taught me html.

I call my self a programmer because if I call my self only graphics designer, then I have to prove to the world that I can make AWESOME advertisements for the media and the internet!
