I actually didn’t like the proposal of this great service offering video hosting, why? Because we have YouTube for videos and Flickr for pictures plus we don’t need another video service. I believed that a few weeks back when I read about it, but I really have take back what I said because the new Flickr video doesn’t aim to be YouTube but it’s a feature for pro members of Flickr and normal account can also watch them too (whoop).

How it’s not YouTube? Well the goal is not have people mass uploading long videos or clips of copyrighted materials, saying that the videos will only be 90 seconds long and 150MB in size (you can never know what will happen though). You see when they mentioned 90 seconds I was like – thank god.

The 90secound videos – I think are enough to be like a picture artistic, simple and isn’t long.
