Fat? so what!

Mar 19th, 08

Weight issues are not new. Everyone has at least known someone with weight issues. I’ve been dealing with weight issues only for the last two years, I use to be fat-worry free and then boom, I’m a bit fat and I feel all depressed. When I’m feeling depressed, I tend to hate myself. I tend to blame myself for anything. And people say I’m not fat, muscular… I go to the gyms :).
For examples:
I can’t go out today, I have nothing to wear. I’m fat.
I can’t be successful because I’m fat. Now, I’m off to kill myself.
I’m fat, I’m fat, I’m fat.

But you know what? I’m tired of it!

The truth is I don’t really care if I’m fat. I don’t hate myself because I’m fat. I hate myself for eating excessively. There was one time, in my life, I’ve starved myself. Then about every 4 days, I binge. I’d never lose weight because starving actually lowers down your metabolism and the fact that you are starving, your body goes under starvation mode where it digests your muscles (remember: your heart is made of muscles!) and stores your food as fat straight away, just in case if your body doesn’t get food later. And binging is a desperate action made by your body to get nutrition’s.

I got a gym membership card and I want to set off every day, but I only go once a week and then even then I might not good. In the gym when I go on my own – I will be just hanging about but when with my friends we challenge each other. I play football on Sunday for around 5 hours and still same weight … 73KG, hence I’m 5 foot 5 or 7.

My problem as I said above I binge a lot and this isn’t my fault, it my friends Dilz (Sheful), who just goes chicken & chip shop during and after college, he never gets fat but I did. He’s also getting fat nowadays( Shame).

I got a problem with Mars Bars (Look at the footer)

Question:
How much do you weigh? Do you feel comfortable with your present weight?

nowadays we are being lead by the media about weight loss, every where you go you see posters about health issues, yet there are many unhealthy shops and adverts that promote, unfortunatley, unhealthy habits.i agree with your article ,people are now getting parnoid about their weight while their is nothing wrong with a bit of extra unsulation in the cold weather.

really enjoyed your posts and the pictures.
you should do what you feel is right when it comes to your wieght problems,so dont listen to other peoples opinions.

Arrg the media has a lot of control over what most people and including myself think and like. I really like Mc’donald because of the ads, i could fill myself from a local store but when you eat at Mc’d feels different.

I have many habits and eating is the major one, i want to stop. lol @ unsulation joke.

Thanks for reading, means a load to me :)

    thanks for the advice
