My friend Aneesa recommended this. I really only wanted to see this because Owen Wilson is in it - obviously before his mental breakdown. I don’t know if I liked it a bit, or a bit more than a little bit, its too funny and too shaby. It was obviously using the SuperBad formula; take a fat kid who thinks he is awesome, a small skinny nerd kid, and dump them into the big bad world.  They hire a personal bodyguard to stop their asses being pounded, but find out he’s a double-crossing hobo.

I guess they couldn’t do much and keep it within the PG rating range, but it did well for what it was. It was noticeable that Owen Wilson wasn’t as funny as he could be, in his other movies I.e. Wedding Crashers, but it’s a fun movie to watch none the less. Wait for this one to come out on DVD ( or blue-ray) to rent if you’re bored one night, the actors were funny at times but the best you will get is the Ninja civil war story told by the history “teacher”.

Over all 4/10, just because I like SuperBad.
